Legal

Acceptable Use Policy

Santoram is a public platform. These rules protect our readers, our creators, and our community.

Zero tolerance

Any sexual content involving minors, any credible threat of violence, and any content used to plan, commit, or facilitate a crime will be removed without notice, the account permanently banned, and the matter reported to the competent authorities. There are no warnings, no second chances, and no appeals for these categories.

You must not publish

Publishing standard

Publishing on Santoram is a privilege, not a right. We hold every submission to a strict standard and refuse anything that is unlawful, unsafe, deceptive, abusive, low-effort, or off-mission, at our sole and absolute discretion.

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and consequences of every word you publish. Hiding behind a pseudonym does not reduce your liability.

Enforcement

Every newsletter submitted for publication is screened by automated moderation. Content that triggers strict categories is auto-rejected and not appealable. Borderline content is held for human review and may be refused, edited, or required to be revised before publication.

Readers may report any newsletter via the report button. Reports are reviewed by our admin team and acted on per case, with strong deference to reader safety.

Actions may include silent removal, public unpublishing, demonetization, deindexing, account suspension, permanent bans, device or network bans, forfeiture of unpaid earnings, and referral to law enforcement. We reserve full and final discretion, may act without notice, and owe no refund. See our Terms.

Fraud, phishing, and scams: strict liability

Fraud, phishing, and financial scams are strict-liability violations. Intent, ignorance, "it was only a draft", "a bot wrote it", or a third-party source is not a defence. If the content is fraudulent or deceptive, the violation stands.

  • Phishing pages, credential harvesting, fake login or verification links, and lookalike or punycode domains.
  • Malware, obfuscated scripts, executable downloads, and links that hide their real destination.
  • Guaranteed or risk-free return claims, fixed daily or weekly yields, and unregistered solicitation of investment.
  • Crypto wallet validation, seed or recovery phrase requests, giveaway or airdrop doubling, and payment-in-gift-cards demands.
  • Advance-fee, inheritance, lottery, romance, and processing-fee schemes.
  • Impersonation of a bank, tax authority, platform, or support team, and invoice or bank-detail redirection.
  • Money laundering, mule recruitment, carding, stolen payment data, and forged documents.

Every submission is scanned automatically before publication. Confirmed fraud or phishing signals are rejected outright and are not appealable; borderline signals are held for human review. Consequences include immediate removal, permanent ban, forfeiture of unpaid earnings, and referral to payment providers and law enforcement.

You indemnify Santoram in full for any loss, claim, fine, chargeback, or legal cost arising from fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful content you publish.
